Event on 2 November 2021 at University of Zurich

Sustainable Finance in Europe under a Swiss-Spanish Perspective

Event date:
2 Nov, 9:00 – 11:30 CEST

Organization:
The event is jointly organised by the Center for Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability (CCRS) at the University of Zurich and the Spanish Embassy in Bern.

About the event:
Over the past couple of years, the ties between the economic ecosystems of Spain and Switzerland have become even stronger. This is particularly true in the area of finance, since in 2020 there have been various relevant investments in Spain by big Swiss financial companies, which will surely lead to additional investment flows between both countries over the coming years.

This conference aims to explore the synergies that could result from the growing economic ties of the two countries in addressing the need to make the European financial system more digital and more sustainable. In return, participants in the conference will also discuss to what extent current sustainable finance initiatives are contributing effectively to achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
