New article about esg2go in academic journal “Sustainability”

esg2go peer-reviewed

22 Dec 2023

The esg2go sustainability rating and reporting framework is already widely used by small and medium-sized businesses and now has gained an important academic acknowledgement. On December 15 the paper esg2go: a method to reduce bias, improve coherence and in-crease practicality of ESG rating and reporting, written by members of CCRS and University of Basel, has been published in the free-access and peer-reviewed Journal ‘Sustainability’ (Impact Factor 3.9).

The publication reflects the commitment of CCRS, Adjumed and their partners and supporters to provide an ESG and CO2 rating and reporting tool that is open, transparent and science-based. This paper provides the empirical evidence that esg2go's scoring function is able to reduce greenwashing by enabling a fair and context-specific corporate sustainability assessment that is independently verifiable.

By being open, transparent and science-based sets esg2go itself apart from proprietary solutions in the market. Therefore, in addition to industry-specific and product-specific sustainability assessments is esg2go a practical and affordable rating tool that helps SMEs to quality for public tenders or supplier evaluations.
