Transition from Innovation to Sustainability

Code A Program

Code A promotes inclusive and innovative approaches to the climate crisis and environmental challenges. Our framework facilitates the transition from knowledge and innovation to action and sustainability. Code A enhances both the capacity of our thinking systems to cope with change and our ability to adapt to the cultural values of the communities with which we work. We have conducted training and research projects on social responses, climate transition, and the geography of knowledge. Code A can help precisely define the priorities of the United Nations 2030 Agenda that fall within our purview, ranging from inequality and exclusion to digital transformations and social unrest. Our concept of “Theater of Decision” directly addresses the challenges scientists face in integrating new capacities for critical analysis and foresight. Code A is also developing a program of study in sustainability sciences for partners in the Global South.
