Diego Macall holds a master’s degree in agricultural economics from the University of Saskatchewan in Canada and a PhD in Environmental Science and Technology from the Autonomous University of Barcelona in Spain. His master’s thesis examined the adoption of agricultural biotechnology in El Salvador, while his doctoral research focused on municipal agricultural policy in Barcelona.
He currently serves as Secretary-General of the International Consortium on Applied Bioeconomy Research and supports the work of the CCRS.
His research focuses on the sustainability of agrifood systems. Diego is part of the Pharmakina team.
