CCRS Retreat 2024
Academic pollination in Mariastein
[Kicker-text = Lassen wir leer]
When scientists step out of their daily environment to meet for a cross-sectional exchange in an inspirational location.

Once a year the CCRS team meets in a quiet location in the countryside to share their latest research and plans with colleagues and close collaborators. This summer the CCRS Retreat 2024 took place in Mariastein, an enclave of the of Solothurn, surrounded by the Canton of Basel. The village's name is derived from the eponymous Mariastein Abbey. Before we started with the scientific exchange, did we have the chance to tune in to the memorable vibe of this Benedictine monastery by attending an introductory tour by their Pater Ludwig Ziegerer.
